The field of building and construction law has developed significantly in the last few years. The Building Act 2004 has changed the regulation of the construction industry going forward. The Building Code is under review. New specialist tribunals and procedures have been introduced by the Construction Contracts Act 2002 and the Weathertight Homes Resolution Services Act 2002.
