Julie Hardaker : Partner

Julie completed a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours at the University of Waikato in 1995 and joined McCaw Lewis Chapman the same year. She became a Partner in 2000.

Julie specialises in employment law and acts for a variety of clients including corporate and small businesses, government and local government bodies, as well as individuals. She has extensive experience in employment law and has represented clients in a variety of dispute resolution processes. Julie has a special interest in corporate workplace structures and proactive management policies and regularly advises on a wide range of employment related issues. Julie has lectured in employment law and presented numerous seminars and conference papers on employment related matters.

Julie is currently completing a Masters of Management at the Waikato Management School and is Chairperson of the Waikato Branch of the SPCA.  She has previously served on local boards, including the Waikato Chamber of Commerce Inc. and Habitat for Humanity (Central Region).  Julie participates in many business groups and community groups within the Hamilton region.
