Wende commenced work at McCaw Lewis Chapman in early May after completing a five year career within the fashion industry both within New Zealand and in Hong Kong.   During this time she was responsible for the establishment and management of a manufacturing and retailing brand and more recently worked as NZ Brand Manager for Rachel Hunter's ‘Rachel' brand of fashion clothing and accessories.

During her career Wende has also worked in a legal capacity within the NZ professional sports environment.

Prior to this commercial experience Wende worked for five years in both provincial and corporate legal practices.

Within McCaw Lewis Chapman Wende specialises in commercial/corporate law and sports law.
