Cathy Rowden : SolicitorLLB, SRN Cathy graduated from the University of Waikato in November 2008 and joined McCaw Lewis Chapman in January 2009. Cathy has over twenty years experience as a registered nurse and has also worked as a Corrections Officer. Prior to completing her law degree, Cathy was the Health and Safety Manager (North Island) for the Department of Inland Revenue. Cathy is a registered nurse and a member of the New Zealand Institute of Safety Management. She is a certified Health and Safety Workplace Auditor and a NZCTU certified Health and Safety Representative (levels 1, 2, and 3). She is currently completing registration for ACC’s Workplace Safety Management Practices programme. Cathy brings considerable experience in medical issues and occupational heath and safety. She undertakes workplace health and safety audits and assessments for all industry sectors and advises clients on all aspects of employment law.
